Extruded polystyrene sheets are the main product of Extrusion Ltd. We produce flat and curved polystyrene sheets in desired sizes. Our sheets can be transparent, embossed and colored, while maintaining high levels of transparency.
Polystyrene, better known as Extruded Polystyrene, is a lightweight and extremely versatile material with a high light transmission index. The light transmission index is around 89 percent providing the sheets with great transparency, suitable for interior glazing, frames, lamps and ceiling lights.
Because of its low tendency to absorb water, it is suitable for use in wet environments and in applications such as bathroom walls or shower stalls or consumer electronics.
Compared to glass, polystyrene has higher transparency qualities, is much lighter and more
robust, with excellent impact resistance-it is the plastic of choice for outdoor use.
Polystyrene is extremely versatile and also finds use in interior design, for making staircase laterals, room dividers or interior glazing of doors and windows. It can also find use in giftware. It is not suitable for outdoor use. Because of its crystalline properties, this material is also suitable as protection for displays and other uses in the electronics industry.
Extruded polystyrene sheets can be easily processed by traditional systems such as: saw cutting, drilling, printing, and milling.
